I think the hook is not really working because it starts with a dissonant note and chord, and doesn't fully resolve. The hooks are well written for the most part, but I feel that the hook in the chorus is a bit lacking. In terms of songwriting, I think it's OK. If the trumpet were replaced by either of those instruments, the production would be much improved. That's why typically you hear a saxophone or alto-sax for a solo with a brass instrument (think Kenny G, or Clarence Clemons). You can't really do much in terms of articulation on a trumpet. There is a reason why trumpets are not used as a solo instruments in pop music : articulation. I'm not feeling the trumpet solo (and the flute part afterwards). All the sections are distinct sonically, which is a hallmark of Kpop. The song is well mixed, especially in the dense chorus sections with those synths. I really like the snapping percussion in the intro and first verse it gives the song a good groove. I think the production is good, for the most part.
